What it is
Invoicing, minus the dashboard.
Kept exactly as issued
An invoice is stored as a snapshot at the moment you issue it. Editing a client, changing your bank details or switching your default letterhead never rewrites something you already sent — last year’s document still renders as last year’s document.
The letterhead is the product
Most invoicing tools have one template and a colour picker. This one has 60 distinct sheets across 15 layouts that change the structure of the page — where the parties sit, whether the total comes before the schedule, whether the foot tears off.
It prints what you typed
There are no per-line tax rates and no state-issued identifiers in the document model. Your tax label and number, your references, your payment reference: text you control, printed exactly as written and never validated, registered or invented.

The template is written into the invoice when you issue it, so the choice is permanent per document and reversible for the next one. Every template stays browsable whether or not it is on your plan — seeing what is behind the paywall is the point of having one.
How it works
Three steps, then it is a habit.
Set up once
Your company, your bank details, the tax label your country uses. Your clients and their addresses. This is the part you never type again.
Write the invoice
Number, dates, service period, payment terms. Line items with quantities, units and periods. The references an accounts-payable department will ask for — purchase order, contract, cost centre — labelled the way your client labels them.
Pick a letterhead and issue it
Choose from the library and send. The document is A4 with real pagination: a long schedule breaks where a printed page breaks, and the table header comes back at the top of the next one.
Or skip all three: the invoice generator does the same job with no account at all. It keeps your invoice in your own browser rather than on our servers, which is also why it cannot hand it to you on another machine.

The free tier is meant to be usable, not a demo. The paid tier removes the limits; its price is not announced yet, and we would rather leave the line blank than publish a number that changes.

The things worth asking first.
Is Invotta available yet?
Invotta is in development, ahead of its public beta. The templates on this site are not mock-ups: every preview is rendered by the same component the product uses to produce the document, filled with sample data.
What does the Free plan include?
1 user, 5 invoices a month, 6 of the 60 templates, and a small "Made with Invotta" line in the PDF footer. Dropping back to Free never deletes anything: invoices you have already issued stay readable and exportable.
How much is the paid plan?
Not announced. The paid plan is unlimited invoices and users, all of the templates, a PDF archive, email delivery and API access — but the price is still being decided, and posting a number now that changes later is worse than saying nothing.
Are these templates legally valid invoices?
That depends on your country and your accountant, and no template can answer it for you. Invotta prints exactly the facts you type. There are no per-line tax rates and no state-issued identifiers in the document model, nothing is validated, registered or checksummed, and a template modelled on a foreign form is a layout — never a compliance certificate.
If I change my default template, do old invoices change?
No. The template is written into the invoice at the moment it is issued, so an invoice from last year still renders exactly as it did then, whatever you have chosen since.
Can I put my logo on the letterhead?
The letterhead is typographic today: a template prints your company name, or a short wordmark and tagline you set, in the face that template specifies. Uploading an image logo is planned and not yet shipped.
What languages does it work in?
The interface is English, with Russian, German and Spanish planned. One family of templates, Bilingual, labels every field in English and German — the labels only. Nothing you type is ever translated, because translating a counterparty's legal name would change the record.
Do the previews match what gets printed?
Yes. The templates are print documents with real A4 pagination, mm geometry and print stylesheets. The preview on a template page is that document, scaled down.
