Free invoice generator.

Fill this in, pick a letterhead, and print it or save it as a PDF. There is no signup, no email address and no upload: the invoice is kept in your own browser, and our servers keep nothing.

Nothing is stored on our servers. This invoice lives in this browser only, and “Clear everything” removes it.

These are the 6 templates on the Free plan. Every template in the library has a page of its own, and each one is rendered there in full.

References (optional)

Purchase order, contract, project code — you name the label, and the sheet prints it exactly as typed.

Both halves are yours to write. Nothing here is validated, registered or checked against anything — the sheet prints the words you type.

Swiss Modern · about this template

What this makes

A real A4 document, not a web page that happens to print. Each of the 6 letterheads above is a print stylesheet with millimetre geometry: a long schedule breaks where a printed page breaks, and the table header comes back at the top of the next one.

  • Issuer and recipient, each with an address, an optional contact line, and a tax label and number you write yourself.
  • Invoice number, issue date, service period, payment terms or an explicit due date, and the date of the service agreement.
  • Your own references — purchase order, contract, cost centre — labelled the way your client labels them.
  • Line items with a quantity, an optional unit, an optional period, a rate and an amount.
  • A note field, and full banking details with an optional payment reference.

Anything you leave empty prints nothing at all — no blank labels, no placeholder rows.

Where your invoice is kept

In this browser. The generator writes the invoice to your browser’s own storage so a refresh does not lose it, and “Clear everything” deletes it. We do not store it, and there is no account for it to belong to. Producing the PDF sends the invoice to our server for the length of that one request and nothing is written down; if the PDF service is not reachable, the page falls back to your browser’s own print dialog, which never sends anything anywhere.

The practical consequence: this invoice exists on this device only. Another machine will not have it, and clearing your browser data clears it. An account is what makes an invoice something you can come back to.

Is it a legal invoice?

That depends on your country and your accountant, and no template can answer it for you. This generator prints exactly the facts you type. There are no per-line tax rates and no state-issued identifiers in the document model, nothing is validated, registered or checksummed, and a template modelled on a foreign form is a layout — never a compliance certificate.

The 6 templates here

These are the 6 letterheads on the Free plan, chosen to span the library: six different layouts and all five voices. The full library is 60 templates, and every one of them has a page where it is rendered in full.
